Standing there and seeing nothing?
- derived. Calculated from verified rules. The arithmetic is ours; the inputs are not.The client only draws some of these markers for characters meeting a condition it tracks. If the spot is empty, the likeliest reason is that you are not in the phase it belongs to.
- verified. Transcribed from a primary source: a Blizzard post, patch note, or the game itself. This quest's markers are on 2 maps: Dornogal, Isle of Dorn.
- practice. Convention among strong players. Widely followed, but it is not a rule and it can be wrong.Open your own quest log map. If the game draws no marker there, you are not in the phase for it, and that is definitive. Trust the game over us, and tell us in the comments so we can record it.
What To Do
Complete the quest objective shown in your tracker in Isle of Dorn, then return to the turn-in NPC.
Quest Text
I do not yet know why you have come here, outlander. But you seem... efficient in killing nerubians. As are we, the Stormriders, vanguards of this isle. The nerubians are an ancient enemy. I would not be surprised if this Zirix knows and fears me, the Stormward. Even so, we could use your skill to help us protect Dornogal. I have a stormrook for you to ride. Mount up and help us rid our city of these insects!
Plan the run before you travel
Isle of Dorn belongs to the The War Within archive. Start with its campaign track if this record is unavailable or the next step is missing.
Check the exact quest giver and turn-in records above first. Use this page's community comments for phase changes, cave entrances, spawn timing, and corrections from the live game.
No group size is listed by Blizzard, so this is usually soloable unless the objective text says otherwise.
Pin the quest in-game, enable objective outlines, then use the exact-title references in the archive for NPC or object coordinates. Add a correction below if the live game differs from this record.
Objectives and map pin
Blizzard's public API publishes a quest's text and rewards but not its objectives, its own level, whether it can be shared, or any map coordinate. Nobody has synced quest 78535 yet, so there is nothing to show here rather than a guess. Running the WowGodSync addon while you play contributes those fields for everyone.
Check it in game
Quest completion is stored per character on Blizzard's side and is not in the public API, so paste this in your chat box and it prints true or false for “They Come from Below” on the character you are logged into.
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(78535))/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompletedOnAccount(78535))A false also comes back for a quest id the client does not know, so it means “not recorded as complete” rather than proof the quest exists on your account.
